WINTER SCHOOL - 5 GIORNATE DI CONFRONTO INTERNAZIONALE SULLA RICERCA

Entra nel vivo la parnership recentemente sottoscritta tra CORIS e Génome Qebec, che insieme a The Quebec Research Fund- Health organizzano dal 14 al 18 febbraio una vera e propria “Winter School”, che prevede cinque giornate di confronto internazionale tra ricercatori su altrettanti temi di stretta attualità per la comunità scientifica in ambito sanitario.

Sul fronte italiano l’iniziativa sarà ospitata presso il Centro Culturale Altinate San Gaetano, a Padova, e potrà essere seguita sul canale Youtube di CORIS, fermo restando la possibilità di assistere ai lavori anche in presenza, sebbene limitatamente all’evento inaugurale del 14 febbraio e comunque previa iscrizione sul sito di CORIS.

La prima giornata sarà interamente dedicata al tema della rigenerazione degli organi, mentre il seminario del 15 febbraio approfondirà le ultime acquisizioni scientifiche e lo stato di avanzamento della ricerca sull’utilizzo delle terapie geniche per il trattamento delle malattie rare. Il programma proseguirà quindi il 16 febbraio con una sessione sulle applicazioni dell’intelligenza artificiale nell’ambito della genomica, il 17 gennaio con un confronto sul ruolo e sui possibili sviluppi delle biobanche, per concludere il 18 febbraio con un approfondimento sulle ultime acquisizioni scientifiche sul Covid-19.

In base alle tematiche affrontate saranno coinvolti di volta in volta docenti e specialisti differenti, ma sempre in rappresentanza delle università di Padova e di Verona e, dall’altra parte dell’Atlantico, della McGill Universiy di Montreal e dell’Université Laval a Québec.

L’iniziativa gode del patrocinio dell’Università degli Studi di Padova, che l’ha inserita nell'ambito del proprio PhD Course in "Translational specialistic medicine G.B. Morgagni".
